because i had a pic i was goign to put there and i forgot lol its in the first post now though.

I'll take pics of what it looks like as of today sometime tomorrow. Grille has been sprayed black, front and rear bumpers were grinded down and sprayed as well. The whole undercarriage has been sprayed black and i also gave it a quick wash. Interior was gutted and i replaced the carpet with a grey one that i had up in my attic that was 100% better and cleaner than the disgusting crap that was in there when i got it.

Well the POS headunit that came with the truck, the volume down button doesnt work. I have the headunit from the red truck but it had a different plug for another harness. I happen to have a ranger one laying around so I made the harness for it. The female connector is for my Remote to the amplifier, just gotta run the wire and then shrinkwrap.

you should of seen how much of a ***** it was to get the drivers side drum off. broke a hammer then had to use a 5lb hammer and that barely did anything. couldn't adjust the star wheel from the other end because it was rusted. i had my friend bring another can of PB blaster over and i'm going to soak the bed bolts again and see if they'll budge. Gonna go with a big snap on gun this time, should get them loose

letting something sit in the north east over the winter= fail

surprisingly there was no rust under the drop-in liner. I used a breaker bar and it got them loose. my impact wouldnt of gotten em out and if i borrowed my friends snap-on one i would of destroyed the torx socket instantly lol

I hope the cab bolts don't give too much trouble.

WD-40 is your friend on those. I've never taken a cab off personally, but i hear they're a pain.

wd40 won't do anything unfortunately (i have a case) its just a lubricator. PB Blaster (penetrator) is what i've been using the past week. i've sprayed them everyday. My last truck wasn't bad but this thing was sitting for 7 months so who knows. worse comes to works the sawzall will come out lol

Die grinder and an Air chisel are my friends when stuff gets stuck at work. figure why not? if it breaks at work, i can just weld it in place.

I broke 3 bed bolts on mine but the crappy bed liner had been in there since 2001 and the front of the bed was rusted out so no surprise there.

PB Blaster is the most amazing penetrator I've used. That stuff is like magic.

Inner tie-rod tools are awesome. Saves so much time. Thanks to Toreador4x4 for all the tips he gave me when I did the same on the red truck, this was a breeze.

Inner/outer rods out

upper and lower balljoints will hopefully go in later today
