Icon4 EXPO 5.0 - 96 RANGER SWAP

Currently i am swapping a 99 explorer 5.0 and trans into my 1996 2wd ranger.
I was going to use the motor mounts from the explorer but i have found that they are a little to tall, also i would need to drill a new hole for the bolt hole but thats no big deal. i have heard of 88-93 mustang mounts?
which motor mounts would be best for this build?
Also my 5.0 does have the P heads, i have read online that it is hard to find headers for these heads with enough space to clear in the ranger. i was thinking about just running the stock ones.
The oil relocation kit i ordered did not fit.. seems like everyone online has a different say in which kit to use.. i want to know which one really works. lol

as far as the PATS go, i did not get the steering column or ignition etc from the explorer. I have heard of getting the computer flashed/tuned to have the PATS dissabled.

Been doing a lot of research before going all in on this and i plan on finishing it up asap.

Good read here: How to install a 1996 Explorer 5.0L into a 1995-1997 Ranger
Also here: Ford Ranger V-8 Engine Swap

Yes, you can have the PCM(computer) re-programmed so PATS won't prevent starting, or you could get an Explorer 5.0l pre-PATS PCM, '96 and '97

You are welcome

One heads up
'99 5.0l engine and computer will have had the 65psi Returnless Fuel system
'96 Ranger will have the 35psi system with return line

'98 and up Rangers got 65psi Returnless system, not sure if you need to change to a later model fuel pump, or if fuel line connectors are the same?

I was going to put an inline electric fuel pump, that should solve the fuel pressure ?
