Just got a reply from the guy with the third, and he's asking 400. Good deal or no? I think it is what do y'all say

5.13 will be pretty low. It's gonna suck if you have to drive it on the street at all. But it will be perfect for wheeling.

That seems like a good deal, but I don't have experience in pricing gears

Thats what I was thinking. For wheeling 5.13s is fine, as Trev said, but going off what Andrew has told me about driving it on street and whatnot it doesn't seem like that will be its main purpose. I would think 4.88s would be better. But a deal is a deal, up to you....

We'll its going to be streetable, so id prolly drive it about twice a week or so just to give the f150 a break. But its primary use will be trails/ crawling. I figured 5.13s and a spool should be fine.

Wait. Wont I have to grind down the inside of the housing to put the 5.13s in?

Being streetable and drive 2 times week is opposite of it's primary use being trail/crawling lol.

You really need to decide how the truck is going to used. One or the other streetable trail truck or offroad only.

It's not like 5.13s will make it impossible to drive on the road or anything but 2 days a week in a 351 w/ 5.13s = a tank of gas LOL.

God damnit kevin. I dont have to decide chit. I have to take it out of the garage a few times just to keep it healthy and prime. I wouldn't be able to go wheeling all the time so I figured a few street drives to work and back would be geud.

HAHAHA sorry for laying it down. yeah I mean like I said it's not like it won't be able to drive normally but 4.88s will be immensely better on the street.

Thats true, once the 35s go you would able to go to 37s without having to worry about gearing.

Ugh with 5.13's you won't have to worry about re gearing until you hit 40's. And even then you probably wont' have to regear.

It's MAIN purpose is to wheel. Build if as if that's the only purpose. The legalities can be added later. But don't plan on how it's gonna drive on the street, if that's not what it's intended for. Just sayin'.

Efuginxactly. Trev ftmfw haha. Its main puprose will. Be for wheeling but it will see street time.

And 513s will be good up to about 44s. Which I don't plan on going to 44s cause it wouldnt fit in the garage haha.
