I'm runnin 6* Caster right now. Drives flawlessly... My gear guy told me between 5-7, Zach says 4-6.... It's all the same, Just makes sure it's within those lines..

It's funny how when it's done you start changing everything haha.... Been there! Looks good though brother!

yup gota work out them bugs..haha, thanks for the complement on the build

I should be able to get the caster to 5.5 with the stock 2* bushings

It has been my daily driver again for the last week and it aint to bad... better in some ways worse in others

it feels alot better going over RR tracks or drop offs but the steering is looser and it dont make as sharp of turns as it used to...lol

You need to put in a sway bar from Currie. (AnitRock), that should help control the steering characteristics and body roll.

Do you have a new or used steering box?

after driving it for a while and getting use to how it feels, i have no problems driving it
but sway bars would be good for sure it has a bit of body roll

the gear box came from trail gear they rebuild them with new seals and bearings etc.

i know a few jeep guys with spools in the front with manual hubs and the only thing it is good for is mud. as soon as you get on the trails or rocks they have all started breaking axle shafts or other components

good for nothing but mud!!! not true I have seen plenty of rockers that run spools or "lincon locker"
there is no better traction devise in mud or rocks, than to have all 4 locked

even if I had a selectible when it is locked it is supposed to be 100% locked togather just like a spool

so there is no difference other than the spool has less chances of braking because no moving parts

and I have 30 spline 300m rcv shafts that are stroger than stock 1 ton shafts
and if they break I get new ones so im not worried

Looks pretty good. I'm pretty jealous of your set-up. I'm guessing you're gonna repaint those areas to make it look as purty as the rest of it?
