Biltrites axle builds and eventual sas
had the chance to get a little more done when I got off work today,
put the rvc shafts togather

took the old threaded inserts out

in with the new

got the knuckles on and grinded down the lower balljoint studs flush with the nut (clearence for the cv boot)

and then dissapointment... Im pretty sure the inner shafts are to long? it started getting dark I will have to check into it more tomorrow

thanks Kris
ok so after I got up and started looking into the shaft problem I find that I put the cv's in backwards, yes I feel like a dumb ***...lol
I was in a hurry to get it done befor dark.... but once I turned the cv's around they fit perfect
got the shafts in caliper backing plates and spindles on and torqued to spec

but I also know it was used with the y links style setup so the angle might not be choice
but from eyeball it looks like it will be close to right with the highsteer arms
in my opinion its a little puny, and I wouldnt mind having a better one made at some point
Yeah I would recommend using Heims on both ends... I had issues with Rubber on the panhard and link bars.
I question that because I dont prefer bent panhards unless you have to. And in this case you should be able to do a nice straight bar.

right on thanks for the input, how is that shaft coming along?
Well I am waiting on Trevor... he keeps telling me he shipped that E250 shaft, I talked to him Friday and he hadnt shipped it yet. I am to remind him tomorrow. I would just get one else where but they are hard to find so I am waiting on him. Once I get it I will verify the shaft diameter, order a pillow block bearing, and then get the ends machined on the Ranger piece, Yota piece and the E250 piece. Hopefully get it done by the end of next week.
