Wingman's 2002 Xlt Build
Ok, so I bought my ranger almost a year ago and haven't got around to making a build. When I bought it, it had 79,000 miles on it and needed new ball joints. Other than that it was good to go. Even before I had bought it I had plans to lift it and put some 32 or 33's on it. All I care about is making it a good, capable and trail worthy truck with a good sound system while not emptying my wallet.
The day I brought it home
I found some cheap headlights w/ black housings on ebay and replaced my super foggy stock headlights asap.
Since I plan on wheeling this truck I looked into some custom Skid plates for it and got myself a front skid and a transfer case skid.
Replaced the stock radio with an Alpine CDA-103BT head unit.
And the latest, today I got rid of the ARE bed cover and installed some nice Bushwacker Bed Rails. I think It looks much better in my own opinion.
And that's all I've done so far. This month the lift will be going on and I am saving for my new wheel and tire combo and will hopefully have them on in July.

I just used the 97 cent cans from home depot, flat black ones on my old truck. It holds up really well. POR15 is meant to be applied to rusted surfaces so if your frame isn't bad, I wouldn't really bother. My current truck is undercoated so I don't have to worry for a while lol
