Center console. The OHC is already in, but I got tired of doing wiring projects so I didn't wire it up. I'll get back to that when I get everything else done and I'm looking for things to do one weekend haha

For my center console, I drilled 2 holes in the inner pan and tapped them to run a regular bolt through it. The one stripped though when I was putting everything back in after the color change.

Got the center console installed Friday night! I'll get some pics tonight after I get the passenger seat put back in.

Lol sorry. Our dog was having some issues last night so the seat never got to go back in. Good news is he seems to be doing better, and I got the seat back in tonight.

Onto the pics!

They're very comfy. Wife and I made a 3 hour round trip in it last week, and it drove like a dream down the interstate.

Man, I forgot how big the SCT was. Looks like it sits kinda awkward.

It's really not as bad as it looks in the picture. Everything is easy to see and reach, and it doesn't block too much of the view. I'll get a pic while sitting in the truck later.

My wife's Honda started acting up the other day, so I've been taking the truck to work while she drives the Fusion (which I gladly suggested lol). I still have to do the cosmetic stuff like putting the flares, grille, etc. back on, just haven't had time. Other than that, it's pretty much all done.

Money-saving time starts next, which hasn't really been going well lately. Probably going to sell the Fusion soon so I can get out of the ridiculously high note and make the Ranger my DD. I'll figure something out down the road when it comes time to tear it apart again for its next transformation.

I wanted to get in the contest last weekend but the rain kept me from getting a good pic. I couldn't help but take a pic of the sunrise this morning when I got to work though.

I think it would look good with the rims blacked out. Too bad you couldn't have gotten that pic in for the photo contest, it looks really cool!

I think the rims would look good black or dark gray/gunmetal. Do I dare say try plasti dip first and see if you like the look first..lol

Thanks guys! I took it to work one day last week to try to get a pic at sunrise for the contest, but some guy came up to me in the parking lot as soon as I got out of the truck to talk to me about it. By the time he was done, I was running late for my morning meeting and didn't get a pic lol

Lol Andy, I was actually thinking about going the PD route first since I could try it out and maybe test a couple of different things like gunmetal. I don't mind plasti dip as long as it's not used as a permanent thing haha

I also found that they sell my rims in black now:

I thought I smelled plastidip. As long as it's TEMPORARY, you're fine.

I'm not a fan of adding color to them (not because it's E4 haha). I think they'd just look better all black.

I tend to agree with you, but you know E4 has to at least be considered with everything.
