Not gonna bother with one, atleast not for a while. While its still my DD, i want to keep a bumper that will take a hit without directly sending the force to my bumper.

Dude, truck's looking good! I literally went through this entire thread over the course of the whole day. Although 50% of the stuff you were all talking about went right over my head(can you say NOOB). Once i save up enough going to do some mods myself, till then just trying to soak up as much as i can!

spent the better part of last night and thought over some stuff. after my order to BCST is in, I will be throwing in the towel on this truck. Ive reached a point in this build where the cost outweighs the benefits and fun im getting from it, and ive had enough. Would i like bedsides and a built truck? sure! but i have no interest in paying for it.

I may keep up with small upgrades, but since work has been all over the place, fools on here talk like they know a thing and according to my props nobody seems to like what im doing or how im helping, I'm done. Not gonna be all dramatic about it, just at that point where im happy saying no more.

I will update when the parts are in and i have them installed. Hopefully ive been helpful with somebody looking to build their truck, if i can help one person im happy. Thanks to everybody that has left comments and thoughts. i love to read comments on here, i know i check these sites more then i do actual work haha.

I wouldn't really get upset over your props. Dave had -1500 plus at one time. If one person doesn't like you they just neg prop you. Not a big deal.

Good luck with your build though.

thank you, i logged on and was like how on earth did that go from negative 9.... lol.

paypal says the money will clear on the 21st, so i will make the order either the 21st or 22nd, and then get the parts shipped asap. Its been a long wait for these, (2 years ive wanted it) so im very glad im gonna do it.

I messaged a friend in the area, if he orders bedsides for his ranger, i may just put my order in with his to ship them together. i know i said i wasnt gonna order them, and i reaaalllyyy dont wanna spend the money, but the truck looks un-finished, and we cant have that...

My bank says to my projects. wish i had more to update with. thursday i take my full G test for an unrestricted licence. Wish me luck with that!

Sunday i removed my grill holder thingy to pad it and space it back from my fenders. it went well.

Hard to see the difference, but this is the only sideish pic i have afterwards.

And a few randoms for good luck.

The truck is indeed looking good, and I agree on the bedsides. Don't let others' opinions get you down. Do you know how many people I've had tell me that I need to straighten my front bumper? I have it tilted downward on purpose, but no one likes it that way. Thing is, it's my truck, so I couldn't care less what they like. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! I'll try my best. The cost of this stuff and the fact that sales are slower then ive every seen, are making this a slower harder job then i thought.

no big update, but last night i pulled the regular fuse holder and dropped in a 50amp MAXI fuse. (E-fan)

right is ranger fuses, middle is my old one about the size of a quarter. left is a MAXI fuse. They are made for stereo's and such. 50 amp should be OK. ran the AC all morning and no issues even in this 93 degree heat today.

Spoke to brandon today, a few updates on the order.

Tabs are in, Camburg coils and BTF arms are ordered, wheel spacers should be in tomorrow, shocks and straps are being ordered today. Brandon has been amazing, ordering for me before my paypal clears, so i wont have such a wait for the parts. guys ask me why i have BCST decals on the truck, this is exactly why.

Awesome!

My dad's Superduty has a bunch of maxi fuses, I'm guessing all diesels have them, the worst part of that is that they don't make assorted packs of maxi fuses that I know of, I had to buy them individually.
