Project : Army Jeep

Traded a 1985 Kasucki 3 wheeler that didn't run for it. 1969 Jeep BJ. Runs, but needs tires, brakes, and paint. Me and my roommate are goign to give it the classic army jeep look, olive drag with white stars and stenciled numbers.

I'm SO stoked about this one. I've always loved the look of an old *****'s army jeep.

^ The look we're going for.

Progress will be slow at best on this one, my main focus is the rat rod, but this one was just too cherry to pass up.

Another Project! That's cool you where able to trade your 3-wheeler for a classic Jeep. Was it a mail carrier at one point? Can't wait for this one.

Get some flat fenders for sure.

Yeah, it's going to stay right hand drive, and yeah it was a mail carrier, the previous bunch of college kids to get their hands on the poor thing chopped off the top and painted all that ... stuff? on it. Runs good, battery is dead right now though. It really only needs brakes, tires, and some interior work... I'm just going to put the big knobbies from the Mazda on there, the bolt pattern is the same.

I would try and find a CJ tub to put on the frame, that way you can use ready made soft and hard tops.

They didnt use a 5.x4.5 lug pattern on those era jeeps it was 5x5 or 5x5.5 cant remember which.

It was a b!tch to start. It actually took a lot more work than I had thought, but it's running. The video does it NO justice, oh man it's loud as hell and sounds like a beast!
