Yup the sd is running. Pretty good too. Someone threw something at me while driving last night though. Two large dents on the passenger side. All the way down to the paint. Sucks because now it's going to have to get some body work done. At least insurance should cover this one.

I made it though. Both trucks are covered in brine and salt though. Not too happy about that.

 

Do they not salt up there? Our cars are a HUGE mess, I can't stand it. They have salted every day for almost two weeks, for a little dusting of snow here and there. Then even come all the down our dead end road every night and dump more. lol

 

I guess thats one good thing about the state of Michigan being broke is I havent seen one salt truck yet. Matter of fact other than the expressways 90% of the roads I travel to work are still covered in ice.

 

We have it on the highways but not back county roads. That's all sand.

Im wondering if a next must-have step would be to run soem ducting to the inside of the cab for an intake, or at least over the cab to the back. That way you can do some fording and not have any issues with water!

I dont think it was road rage but it had to be something someone threw or another car flipped off the road because the way the dents are it came from the side not bottom. Insurance will be looking at it Tuesday or so.

 

Yeah this year has been interesting with that truck.

7.3s are outdated. Great motors but even worse for a dd in my case.
