take tons of pics of your front frame..as I will need plenty of ideas. Also what are you base'n you build off of or are you just wing'n it? I have never seen any really good pics of Chris's but I remember he has a tube frame up front.

Hey Zach, with all the different parts from different vehicles on your truck, how the heck do you know what to order when a part breaks? Do you keep a list of every specific part that you install on the truck?

it is all in my mind, though when i go to the parts store I really have a hard time because the guy behind the counter gets really confused then ends up confusing me. So when i go in to buy parts I have to say it just right or they get confused.

my dad went in to get brakes for my explorer axle and my dad told him disc brakes on a 94 ford ranger and the guys like they didn't come with rear disc till 98 in the rangers. lol so my dad called me and i explained it to him and the guy was still lost as hell. some of them arent very smart

zabeard - so, where do you cross the point where you say to yourself. f' this, and just build something completely from scratch. seems to me you are almost ready to just build a truck from the ground up, no? wouldnt it be easier?? did i maybe let the cat out of the bag for your next project. for all the work you have done, there aint going to be much of a ranger left.... but i love the way it looks.. and always find your threads to be educational and informative... keep it up.

where would the challenge be in that? plus i like the ranger cab. and the fact that it is still a ranger.

Should be an entertaining build as normal. Was wondering when you were going to get the front half done.

I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Ya i get that alot to especially with the 302 now i usually mess with the guys first lol.
Hey Zach could you get pics of where you cut the front frame and how you build back off it i would like to see how you do this type of stuff and motor mounts also. And a pic of your upper link mount i dont think you ever got a good pic of that. Id be cool if you could.
