In my mind the experience, satisfaction, and the end result are worth more than the time and money. Like my $350 8.8 swap that ended up costing almost $500. The hellish 32 hour weekend of work that was supposed to only take like 6 hours. But the experience and the satisfaction (as well as some father-son bonding time) made it more than worth it.

then what was the purpose of the flanges in the fenders? Just a really hard piece to bend?

any reason why you didnt put flanges in the rear?

I only plan to put flanges in the rear if i need to pull the cage. This about the front, No way you can make that all on piece. So anything I cant make in 1 piece i was flanging. Because of how it bends you cant get the cage piece back on or off for that matter.

I had the same problem on my front driveshaft i wanted a 1350 cv but im so close to the tranny pan i dont think it would clear.
Im sure you are already aware that the front and rear yokes on the 205 are interchangable.
I ended up grinding the stock yokes till the point they wouldnt bind and welded up my own drive shaft... i dont recomend it for on road use it vibrates and makes some real cool noises driving down the road lol but for now it works.
Have you got a rear shaft made yet?

California speed limit is 55mph for anything towing.
Personally I think it is unsafe to have a 65-70mph speed limit, and have trucks driving that much slower than other traffic.

Damn. Does that apply when you aren't towing as well? That f250s pretty close to the 4 ton limit when its empty.
