I forget who built it but i remember someone putting a lightning supercharged 5.4 in a ranger and it fit under the stock hood... i think they called it like the lightning bolt (ill see if i can find a link)

HIs is a little different since he has to adjust the height for the front suspension.

that a yota box? doesnt look like it..

guess when you get to that point you can run anything that you want..

one more question for beard when he returns..you going to keep the stock frame just under the cab or tube that also?

Evan from what he said to me the plan is to keep the frame under the cab, but I don't know why at this point.

that is a 2v motor, the intake and head height is completely different, zach's is a 4v motor with the big long runner intake tubes...

yes and no, that 4v motor is 36" tall... not too much adjusting you can do. lol

I should have said since he can't adjust the height due to the front suspension lol. Now get back to work Nick, jeez! haha

wow you guys don't mess around do you? Thats some awesome tube work on that frame. Like someone else asked are you eventually going to tube the frame under the cab or is that staying? once you've come this far you might as well change it all lol. I'd love to see this truck in action!!!

those co's look right at home back there. So how exactly was the tube spliced into the existing frame? super curious about that.

No work today, I am too tired to do anything. I started to do a few things then burnt up my drill. Maybe roll it out of the shop tomorrow.

sure why not? lol i plan to roll it out of the shop tomorrow sometime. the engine was never planned to be done this week, or even this month or this year! i dont need the truck or want to drive it until February.
