well I got to work on the rear end of this project today .. I once owned a 1969 ford Thunderbird 4 door.. well when i sold it I kept a few pieces .. on of witch was the piece that went under the rear bumper .. well with a few measurements and three cuts this is what i ended up with ..

so i would like everyones opinion .. I have a few sets of ground affects off of 90s explorers ... there close to fiting.. I have some pics of mockup .. I would like to know if ya'll think the time that i will have to put into them to make them fit right will be worth it in the over all look of the truck....

I'd say no on the side molding. I like clean looks, just body lines. Keep up the good work man. So far it looks great.

I havent updated in a while cause I have been looking for a few parts .. the front end nose assembly is one of the things I have been looking for . I wanted to find a 93 ford explorer limited bumper and cover , but the closest one i could find is over 250 miles away..So I went to my local U-Pull-It and started looking for something that might work..
I found a 98 mountaineer bumper .. I have done some test fitting and it might work not sure yet gona play with it a bit and see what i can come up with .. for 40 bucks i can afford to play around with it a little bit.

Heres some pics of the first test fitting..

Looks awesome so far. Love the work you're doing. You Definitely know what you're doing. I'd say yes to the side skirts. They'd look awesome with that bumper and also the "roll pan".

Great work

Im weighting on a few things to finish up some of the body work so I dove into the interior .. pulled the 60/40 bench and chopped the center out and made buckets and installed a center console I pulled out of a 93 explorer .. This is the first install just to see how it all will fit together ..

Good work! How hard was it to install the seats and center consol? I'd love to do that to mine.

Easy peasy, I did escort seats and taurus console in my first gen, I just went and found a ranger with buckets and swapped tracks.

I may have to do that, but I am fairly **** about my interior matching. I do like the Explorer consol he has.

Mine isn't too mismatched, gray cloth, silver dash with deep purple accents, and deep purple door and interior panels.

The purple is thanks to the previous owner.

It's pretty easy though and it's nice having buckets.
