Machined would look awesome! They looked real good on my last 2000 lowered but then again they didn't match the chrome front end so I'm really torn!!!

What do you guys think. Chrome or machined?

Wirelessly posted

I would prefer the Chrome....on my truck....just my two cents. Little things like that bother me because I want things to match!

Looked into a little bit more and what I discovered was because the Ranger has a prop valve and the Expo does not the rear discs do not like to work with the Ranger valve. They tend to lock before the front brakes due to this. By switching masters you may have gone around the issue but the recommended solution is an adjustable prop valve.

fyi, if you have 4wheel abs you don't need to worry about the proportioning value when you switch to 4wheel disc brakes...the system does it automatically for you.

2003 Cobra wheels with 245/40/18 Nitto NT-555's

The front looks so low because it still needs aligned and has very bad negative camber. Once it is aligned it will look much better.

I knew 01+ had electronic proportioning but I don't think 98-00 do even for 4WABS.
Not sure though, not exactly an expert in brakes like you are.

Anyway, those wheels are SICK!

That's just pure sex right there. Only thing it needs IMO would be some crystal headlights & corners, some window tint, and an 01+ (any of them) front bumper with fogs.

Nice work.
