http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/...t_p_1636.html#
I have a couple Q's about the 2.63 ballistic JJ's
1. These would be fine to use on an extended are setup correct?
2. Should I use right hand threads on each side or use right on one side and left on the other?
3. I would geuss the bigger the stud the better right? And how many TPI any difference in the 12 and the 14 TPI
4. 2" OD diameter tube with a wall thickness of .250" would come out to be 1.5" ID correct? I dont wanna buy the wrong bungs

You MIGHT depending on the tube be able to match the stud to the ID so you can just have someone tap the tube and not have to worry bout the weld in bungs.... just an idea..

Well the stud is only 1.25" so i couldnt do that but that would be cool to and the 3.0 isnt big enough either i dont think.

yes, 2"x .250" wall tube will be in the neighborhood of 1.5"ID

right hand threads on each would be fine i think..

and the difference between 12 and 14TPI is 2 threads per inch

buy the bungs. they are a harder steel than the DOM anyway.

run all right hand threads on extended radius arms.

id buy the 3.0" JJ myself.

Why have you had problems with the smaller ones or just because they are bigger and stronger.

well i am running the smaller ones on mine, no issues. but i have 3 links. you have 2, so you are going to have more stress on the joint. I like the bigger ones but it would have cost me a fortune to change over because i reused those brakects.

either one will work fine though.

While you're working on the 14bolt don't forget to weld the tubes to the pumpkin. Looks real good so far.
