So today I got painfully bored, and I am still waiting for my order of parts to come in from TMR customs. That should be here tomorrow. But until they come in I started on my doors. Yes... I am even cutting my doors apart. I was able to get a few pictures before my phone died. But it is enough to give you guys a idea of what it is going to looks like. The sides were I cut everything out are going to be filled with 14 gauge sheet metal. And the bottom is going to be filled with 1/8.

The only thing I still need to work threw is how I am going to put a latch on the door.

Nice progress!

Are you planning on re-painting everything?

If so, what color?

Could you not reuse the original handle and put it on the bottom of the flat part of were you cut the door. Then just move the latch assembly down?

That would look good. And in theory it should work. All you are doing is moving It down and laying it flat.

Use a jeep handle. It is more flat and would fit better I think.

Lol trust me I won't.

So over lunch I got to thinking. How man hours have I put in to this truck already. I seeing as how I have been on summer vacation for the last three weeks I have been working on it from 9-5. So right there that's 56 hrs each week. Over three weeks that's 172hrs. Plus the three months of weekends. That's another 120 hrs. For a total of 292hrs. This is something I am going to keep track of. This way at the end I know how much time I put in to it.

Ya its working perfect now. The only thing that I need to do is spend more time using it. But I have a feeling between the roll cage and the engine cage i will get a few more hours in with it.

Rear is 90% done. All I have to do now is gussets, and the cross bars right behind the cab and I am finished.
