I thought i would share this with you guys. I have been working on it for just about my high school year.
Specs 91 Blazer frame full roll cage Dana 61 rear axle 4.10 gears and ladder bar suspension. 357 small block chevy .40 over bore chevy bow tie block solid deck head 4340 forged chromoly crank 6" carrillo forged H beam rods SRP forged aluminum dished pistons Alum. chevy heads 2.09" int. 1.70"exh. 8.5:1 comp. ratio excel 1000 efi intake 83 lb injectors fast electronics custom headers made by me twin turbo chargers Motor dynoed at 931 CHP and 946 CT Ill get some pics up when i get a chance we just made front page news for the livingston daily heres a link with a vid also. Ya rear shafts will probably break. Tranny will go first though or just slip with the stock convertor.

Hell of a high school build

Ya it was fun i learned a ton of stuff. We got most of the engine parts from central mich. university. Ooh we ran 25lbs of boost to.

Looks like a stock car roll cage, would of been better if you fabbed a cage specifically for drag racing but I'm sure it'll still run good if the rear end doesn't break. I wish my high school did that stuff.

Ya it is we picked it up really cheap and we couldnt afford a tube bender so it will work for us we got lucky and got 100' of .25 dom for free
