gumby's mountianeer build-up

it is home!

along the way home sunday, i stopped and had a lil RBV meet at scottG's house

here is a shot of it next to my ranger from this afternoon

now to start moddin, we must first de-mod the ranger and make some $$$

tires are dismounted so i can have the rims blasted and powder coated. all the mods i have done to it are being removed and are for sale . the truck is already sold(stock) to a friend of the family(in-laws).

grabbed one of these at a junkyard(thanks cougarSE)

the spring code on my mounty is BF, so while i lower it i will swap in my set of #1 bars. the B bars will end up on the ranger. while i remove the RCD from the ranger, it will also donate its 4.10's to the mounty. the ranger will get the mounty's 3.73's and stock wheels/tires.

rough plans have been layed out as follows:

suspension/brakes:
#1 ranger torsion bars
2"ish drop
explorer express rear sway bar
bilstien shocks
12" front rotor upgrade
17" wheels with 275/55/17 tires

interior:
overhead console
full length console
sport trac gauges

drivetrain:
4.10's
manual tranny conversion
torquemonster headers
undecided CAI
undecided catback
plenum spacer

lots of work to go! stay tuned.

Thats my white one. While Gumby was in Columbus we stopped at Pick n pull.

I just bought my Mountaineer a couple weeks ago. Funny thing is the two had the same build date.

(short tires + AWD(no low range)) (dropped suspension + stiffer springs, shocks, sta-bar) = the offroad capability of a Ford Five Hundred

yes, this is sport truck build

here ya go

its the best i could do with low quality pictures, also I couldn't find the right bumper to use, so I left it stock

most likely its too 'slammed' I used skew instead of just lowering it down on the wheels, that way the rear wouldnt be tucking like when i did your tc's shop

oh, and luckily the rims were dirty, so i didnt have to make them darker for you..hehe
