It runs...a little progress

I know you guys like to see progress so here's where I'm at. After swaping the body on a 4wd frame and wiring most of the power door stuff up it runs. I picked up the certifit parts and test fit most of them. Also got lucky at the junk yard and picked up a dual exhaust for 50 bucks!!! not installed yet. Heres a couple pics.

lol...you will be biting nails when I cut the front off of it so it matches up with the grill!!!

That will be interesting to see. I always hated that ford got rid of the big powerdome hood.

Hey John that flare is a diffrent color then the truck i can see it from here

Yeah the only thing that concerns me is the curve at the front, I might have to work it a little. BTW your truck was the inspiration for the front end.

yeah its off an 01 edge and the truck is 04, kinda like the deal with your bed.

that bumper is just sitting on the tow hooks right? cuz that gap looks big

Its bolted but not adjusted, its at the bottom of the slots.

looks good john! where did u get the paint again? i need some toreador red for some parts i have. no one round here sells anything bigger then the spray cans

There is a local auto body supply I go to called custom paint & body, I've been dealing with them for years Cheap red base coat runs about 54 a quart, I think the better paint is around 90 a quart for red. Get me your paint code and I'll get a price.
