I mainly bought this one to tow my Explorer to the longer trips, Harlan, Badlands, Moab, and so on.

Oh and once it's fixed, everything running wise checks out, I may shorten the bed. We'll see though. A lot of work before that happens.

The damage on the full size does not really look all that bad. Structurally it looks like the core support hasn't moved or is so not by much. All lines look in intake. Nice little truck. I'd take care of a bit of the rust build up while your at it. As ugly in a lot of cases that long beds look they are amazing when you need them. Plus the crew cab really makes it nice for those long trips. Good job. Lucky find if you got it for a really good price. This might be to personal but may I ask...How much did you pick it up for?

Thanks dude. As far as everything on the diesel goes, it's in good shape. Hoping to get it to the frame shop today after work. Hoping the radiator support is salvageable. As for price, I paid 7500 for it. Private party book value was 15,700, and the guy needed the money and is a good friend of my dads, so I didn't want to lowball him. I figured this was a good enough deal, especially if I can get it fixed completely for under 2 grand.

If so, that clean title makes it awesome if you ever want to flip it.

My thoughts exactly.

Got the headlights ordered today (thank you credit card) and the frame appointment is for Monday.-

Going to pick up the coolers, hood, and fender Thursday.-

Also worked on D. Got all the plates cleaned up.-

Why I love the plasma...

Tacked in place

Also made tube ends. They are not perfectly round, but close enough for never seeing them

Ugh... Too many. Explorer, this, diesel, red ranger, 68 c10, and my Harley.

This one is getting ready to get put on pause for a bit though. Need to get the 68 fixed, and the red truck broke a leaf spring today, so that is high pri number two. I just have to finish the frame work so I can lay a coat of frame paint, and install the cab and bed. Then it'll be on pause until I get the other 3 fixed.

Did a little more work on this thing. Finish welded everything (my welds are not the prettiest, do I usually don't take pics of them. They hold well though) on the frame and will be test fitting the cab before the second and final coat of paint. As long as the body fits without having to move body mounts, it will have the body back on likely this weekend, but again, it will be the last update for a few weeks.

No. Just 93-97 and 98+

Some parts like head lights, grilles, header panels and bumpers you can get from eBay. Hoods and fenders you want to buy factory Ford stuff. Aftermarket metal parts are cheap crap. Takes a body shop hours and hours to get it to fit correctly and look good. The only aftermarket company that I know that makes QUALITY body parts is Cervinis. Of course roush and saleen, but those are more factory/dealer body kits so the quality has to be top notch

Roof is fine, door is pretty jacked up. I will likely use the door off the yellow cab if dad can't fix this one.

Took the truck down to the frame, bought a wrecked 01 2wd, pulled the cab and bed off the tan truck (2wd) modified the yellow truck's frame to fit the newer model parts, then dropped the tan cab on the old frame. Changing the interior to dark gray, repairing the whole thing, rebuilding the axles and suspension, then installing a new power plant.
