I bought a built explorer to take place of the wheeler. I wanted more room to take friends and family on the trails, so i bought that. After the Rubicon, the truck is being shipped to KY via big rig. After i get there, I am pulling the lockers, dropping in a V8, putting some nice shiney wheels on it, and fixing all the body damage. Just turning it into a sharp *** street pig.

well, guy sold the motor before i could get up there to look at it. Oh well. I'll find one back home.

I did get the locker installed and the truck is pretty much ready for the trip up north. Need to grease all the fittings, install my 9" pinion skid, and top off all the fluids.

Dude that '94 to current front end conversion is sick! Now that I am not worried about getting a older Ranger seeing as that conversion is possible, I'm definitely doing that. Btw, that truck is sick in general, seriously loving it.

If you can remember, do you know how much it cost you to get all the parts?

Update

Got the new to me spare tire, and going to pick up the wheel on monday. Also made a skid plate for the t cases, just a simple 3/16" piece of plate welded to it. Still trying to find a spare set of axle shafts though...

Just a few more days until the 'con!

I had been thinking and prepping Bumblebee for the trip, and i remembered how the flares were ripped off last time. Well, i didn't want to drive 570 miles and lose a flare and drive around the rest if the time with a black, red, and yellow truck. So i removed all the flares and painted the fenders. Lets just hope the cops have more important things on their mind....

Could you get some of those rubbery flexible flares? They may not look pretty but they'd do the job!
