ive gotta agree that you need to widen the front a ways first. glass is something you put on when your need it.

what size tire are you going to run with those wheels and said glass?

4.10's would be fine with 33's and a 4.0 but 4.56 would be perfect.

And also I agree with the rest, don't get glass unless you need it.

So i have this new idea for the truck to get it more where i want it for front and rear suspension.
Front Suspension:
BTF Mid/LT Upper and Lower Control Arms and mounts for coilovers and limit straps
extended steering arms and cv axles
2.0x5" fox coilovers and some air bumps

Rear Suspension:
Chevy 64" leaf swap
belltech shackles or somethin similar...whats best
remove factory lift block
eventually some bypass shocks in the rear

Some method rims on 32s or 33s, front glass fenders, lca rear mount crossmember, and front skid.

Ill go for longer coilovers someday but not to worried right now. Gonna take some time to do all these mods, no huge rush that and lots of money. His kits cheaper than dbr and I dont have many optios if I wanna maintain 4wd. I dont want a full lt truck anyway just a mild build

Dixon isnt making their kit any longer anyways. Having those axles built is going to cost a bit, i know a bunch of guys looking for them, most didnt get them with their kit.

my point is if your investing that much money in your front end, (gonna guess 4K) you shouldnt limit the travel and ability of the truck by running short shocks. If you want a mild MT build, grab some UCA's from BTF and you can get the use out of those coilovers. That way you keep your CV's and still get some better travel #'s

Would be a good setup to go 2" over on everything like total chaos offers for the fj cruisers. An extended axle shaft is easy to get if you use stock joints

Did you ever get this kit? I'd be very interested in a custom mid travel coilover kit from BTF... Haha

Also how big of a difference was it going from the t bars to coilovers? Im hoping it's a noticeable difference? On a scale of 1-10 (1 is unbearably stiff and 10 is as smooth as a cadi) what would you say your ranger was before and after? I'd put my current cranked t bar ranger at 4

Tbars do.suck...my coilovers need some tuning they hit a little harsh in town but I like the ride. Sent ntf a deposit for some custom extended arms and steering to go with coilovers so I wont bind my cvs and hit my coils and use the whole shock...i wont have it for awhile tho

Mostly bolt in. have to drill some holes and weld gussets and limit strap tabs to the frame and shock mount
