What did you do with your old rims? You still have them? They have tires on them? Keeping the new rims? I know your not keeping the tires. Wouldn't mind having any or all of the above!! I am running 14's in the back and 15's in the front. Looks ok, but the 14's I got wouldn't fit the front, and had already bought them. Needing something to drive on besides a donut after smashing a concrete barrier with my long commute to work! Let me know. I think I would rather have some nice 16" black rims, but no time to look for them on Craigslist. You know my work schedule! And my boss!

 

haha yeah I hear that about Pat! He's a slave driver. Anyways, I dont have the original rims anymore and I plan on getting some new rims and tires in the near future. I'll let you know when I'm dumping these for some bigger ones.

Anyone know a trick to get the top shackle bolt out? The nuts off but the bolt is wedges in there pretty good.

 

FUUUUCK. I had to cut the top bolts off of both sides! They were frozen...

You cant hit the other side of the bolt... its the top part where the nut backs up to the frame.

I agree I would have waited until I had matching tires to go with the lift.... infact I did. I had my spindle lift sitting in my garage for about 3 months before I found the right tires to go with them. Right now it just looks ridiculous hahah

truck looks great! my 06 was at 41" in front with the 35s...so its gona be like 45 when u get the 35s!

 

I don't know if I wanna go 35s. I'd have to regear again...
