got brakes today! went with bosch because they had carbo metallic pads and a lifetime warranty on coated rotors.




install is set for next weekend for all of these goodies.

Doetsch are a bunch of ***-clowns so I have to machine all the rotors I buy from now on to 11".

care to explain that a lil more? gotta take a half in off cause the rotor bolts arent placed right?

Lifetime warranty... Does that mean when they hit the discard thickness they replace them, or they're covered against warping/pitting until they wear out?

both. as long as i dont go metal to metal on the pads im covered.

Yeah they messed up my bolt locations and refuse to do anything about it. They might send me some tool to elongate the holes but it's still bullshit.

Trust me I did. I threatened to withdraw my payment to them and they said they'd send a tool to fix it. They blame it on ford for using some oversized calipers on select rangers.

oversized calipers? thats how they came stock.. doetsch is a bunch of tards.

found a deal on 4.56 gears i couldnt pass up for the 8.8 build.. so those are on the way :D

nah ill go with 35s still. 4.56s will turn them just fine and the rpms will stay lower at highway speeds, which is a problem i have now with my tire/gear setup. my highway rpms are too damn high!

4.10s with 32s. at 80 the rpms are at 3k. 70.. about 2.5k. alot higher than id like to be at that speed.
