realized i didnt have a project log over here so ill start one now. even though my trucks 2 years into its build.

heres how i got it, a bone stock 2wd XL. a 3.0 with 85,000 miles and 5 speed.


ive got a ton of pics but dont wanna post them all so ill go through the major changes.
first was coil spacers and 31s




as well as hellas behind the grill


added a 3in body lift










the truck also came with a shell


blacked out headlights and LEDs


around new years of 2012 i found out my motor had a rod knock at 104,000 miles.. the motor was toast. it got replaced with a 3.0 crate from ford.


few months later i got the truck back and scored some new 31s. falken rocky mountains.




OHC and autodim


had a brush guard for about a month.. didnt like it in the end


traded my 31s for a set of near new 32in bfg a/ts


then came a whole lot more goodies.. 3in lift spindles and new balll joints






and heres how the truck sits now. 8in of lift over all. and sittin pretty.

thanks fellas. starting my search for gears and lockers tonight. gonna put an 8.8 on a bench and build the ---- out of it.

 

The 32s look really good. 35 and 17s will look amazing. Trucks come along way man.

that alternator looks a little rough, you want me to hook you up with a new one? haha truck is looking good man.

 

idk why it looks like that but i took it in for an alignment right after the spindles were installed. looks great in person.
