kinda depends on how much i trim the rear fenders. i have plenty of time to decide. im broke and tires are a long way off when these bfgs die. got at least 30K left, but then again i drove 30k in a year.

attempt one at swapping spindle snouts. huge thanks to 3B racing in rancho cordova for taking the time to help me out. heated the crap out of the spindle to get the snout out. one snout survived perfectly intact, one ended up with some screwed up threads on the end. i have a second set of spindles to get snouts out of luckily..

press 1, snout 0..

the grass thing was a complete joke, parents didnt want me leaking **** in the driveway. rather than have an argument, i used the lawn. all is well and an 8.8 now rests under my truck. i dont think ill be doing bedsides anytime soon, gonna wait till my buddy has time (he's done these a few times)

might later on, the truck wont see anything serious for a while, just small trail rides. no hucking till i have everything dialed. ill probably pull it and have it pre/post heated to make sure its done right and the welds dont crack.

pics of the new 8.8, complete now with shock mounts.

got a new headunit, just an updated version of what i had.

also picked up a new amp for my door speakers. twas a funny story..

asked a guy at an audio shop how much they wanted for an amp on the clearance table, he said $150. came back later and asked a different guy the same question, he said $80. so now i have a new amp for my door speakers haha.

Always fun when that happens. Thats why I usually ask 2 or 3 employees a price.

the "scratches" are what gave away my brake lines slow leak, brake fluid eats paint so thats what all those streaks are. the ruffstuff cover will go on soon, dgaf.
