i agree i deal with the EBs alot and the aftermarket availability is going up fast. if you do narrow it i can give you the specs on the EB dana 44 as i have one in the shop.

Definitely going to keep in FW.

Don't know if it would help but the 3/16 (if used) would be be bent into a C to fit over the frame rail.

that will be hard to do as the frame is not really shaped the same anywhere. it curves and bends all over...
