Got the manual hub conversion done last nite. Went smooth,no more loose wheel bearings for me now! I had to take the new {used} hubs apart and clean them all out and regrease them cuz it looked like somebody used them as a planter. Now I can get the alignment done next monday.

I also went lookin for tires today and finally settled on 33x12.50-15 Cooper Discoverer STT. Me and a buddy are buying two sets so we can get a small break on the price so it will be a few weeks before we get em ordered and mounted up.

Should have more pix later,Im in the middle of doing my new Duff shocks and new brake lines and hoses.

What rims are you going to use? I know you said something about buying spacers or are you going to you the ones that the claws were on.

i used to know an old lady who had a B2, she only drove it to work like 1mile i wish she still had it, i'd take it off her hands in 3 seconds.

I loved my 84 but I really love this one better now!

Chad, going to use the black steel wheels the Claws are on for the new Cooper tires. I put spacers up front and they clear everything now,but thats just temp until I get the steel rims back on. The Buckshots will be back on my Ranger soon.I think I am going to have the steel 15's powdercoated silver also.

Went out friday to do all my shocks and found out Duff sent me all the wrong ones!

Another busy week.Duff sent me the correct shocks the other day.
Pix of manual hub conversion.

I replaced all the brake lines for the front brakes from the master to the calipers. I picked up extended hoses for more flex.
Before....notice the hose with the hole almost rubbed thru it.

After....

I also found that the front seal on the powersteering pump was pissing all over not the geabox like I was thinking so I put a new pump and all new lines on also.

I wired up new Fosgate Power 5.25 door speakers,Fosgate 1" tweeters in door panels, put some Sportrac Adrenilin 4x6 speakers in the rear,a 300w Kenwood amp and a Fosgate Punch 10" ......wow.Sounds beautiful!

They do look beat, but you wouldnt believe how nice this thing rides!! WAY better than my Ranger with cranked t-bars,AAL and ProComp E9000's! Everybody who has rode in it so far has made comments on how nice it rides.

But,I have thought about calling Duff about ordering a new set of springs even tho it would just be for looks at this point since these work fine ,just look like ***.

I wish I had half the time you do so I could get some work done to the Jeep.

So when are we going to meet? My dad said he would like to see all the work you have done to it.

Well I did the easy job tonite. 15x8 rims with 33x12.50's dont fit on the stock tire carrier very well,so I fixed that.

Just by luck the rim I got off Gumby will match my other 4 when I get my new 33's.

Grind welds off studs on the tire mount.

I had an old packet of Moroso 3" wheel studs laying around so I welded them inplace.

Put some lugs on backwards so when I tighten up the wheel it will be sandwiched good-n-tight.

And finished!

So you're doing a build up on the Bronco and the Explorer? Just got lost after reading about the BII on page 1 then seeing the Explorer on page 2 and on.

I liked the work on the BII though. Those floors look a lot better.
Those tires look sweet for the Explorer too.

If you READ on page 2 it will explain that I started off with the green 84 B2 which was a basket case. CASFZ1 offered to sell me a 1990 BRONCO II which I bought and then sold the Green 84 B2.

I have done a few Explorer mods to my B2 but Im pretty sure its still a Bronco

Picked up Gumby's bumpers and layed everything out on the floor that needs to be mounted up this week for fun today.

Got the rear reciever in today, sorry no sexy tig welds. I wont be pulling and car haulers or campers with this bumper but it should make a nice recovery point for my D-ring. Paint was still drying on my killer brush job and the flash made it look kinda ****ty.

I think tomorrow I might add two gussets to the reciever, one on top and one on the bottom.
