We aint talking SAS flex but for a TTB thats not too bad.
I like the guy on the bike in the background.
hes like, Whhhhhaaaaatttt?!

I like the home depot shock pads too

When you replace shocks are they going to be in the stock location? Also, not sure if its earlier in the thread, are you running stock radius arms?

Rob, I have James Duff long travel arms and their dual shock hoop. I will keep the shocks in the same location but I need a set of rear SuperDuty shocks from Rancho to get all the travel out of these springs.

Dont worry Zach I might be coming your way this summer for a Badlands trip.Have you ever wheeled there? Cant remember if it was you or Gumby who said they ran the Badlands before.

I've been there a few times.

They have trails for all levels. I have only been in there truck section one time but the short time I was in there, it was mild to some pretty crazy stuff. Not sure if everything I was running was a "truck trail" but you could easily get your self in some trouble.

I have not.

Josh has been there numerous times with his 4wheeler racing so he knows his way around. We need to go for sure.

I messed around with my new axles a bit yesterday and found out the Aussie Locker I bought used from a Jeep guy is actually a Powertrax....and its broke.

I called Powertrax to try and get some info on replacement parts and what a A-hole I had on the phone.I waisted an hour on the phone and got nowhere.

I was hoping I could work on my axles on my breaks from workin on my 99 but maybe not now.

My winch had been acting weird since our Mounds trip and the last time I was out wheelin a week ago it wouldnt work at all. I took it apart and found some burned up solenoids and fried connections.

I found a nice place that sells replacement winch parts called DB Electric on the web and got two new solenoids.I fixed some wiring and put the new parts in and it works like new again!

I also got the truck to sit level now with some new 2" Daystar XJ coil spacers.

Now I just gotta clean it up for BroncoRama at The BroncoGraveyard this weekend!

I had a good friend offer me 150.00 for my 4 year old Champion winch so I sold it to him and bought a new Smittybuilt XRC8 winch.Nice winch! I ordered new ****** straps and a tree saver.I bought everything thru Ironman Offroad in Midland Mi,great prices and quick shipping.

I also bought some new Daystar 55w lights thru Jegs for 25.00 each.Wow these lights kick ***! They are as bright as my 130w ProComps on my Ranger.

Well today starts the next chapter........frickin trans lost its front pump seal on my way home from work today:( I am not putting another penny into this drivetrain. It gets parked today and will not move again until the next round of mods are done.

Sooooo, looks like the 96 Explorer disc brake 8.8 with 4.56 gears is going in first. Then the 4.56 gears and locker are going in the D35.

Im dropping my C4 off at trans shop next week for a go thru and conversion to 4wd. And my 87 5.0 is going on the stand for a few things.

Give me a couple months and it will be a totally different truck when it comes back out!

That sucks Brian, that trans doesn't even have many miles on it. But I think you are going to be very happy with the 5.0 and the C4. What are you going to use for a tcase?

The trans still shifts perfect so that makes it even worse! Im pretty sure I had something to do with the seal failing with all the mud and water I've dunked this thing in.Whoever did the trans cut up the inspection plate so it doesnt seal off the inside of the bellhousing very good so Im sure lots of mud and dirty water have gotten to the seal......oh well.Honestly I cant believe this trans lasted as long as it has! I fully expected a blown trans, broken axles, snapped driveshafts or at the very least broken hubs long ago! Truck has been a frickin beast!

Believe it or not I like and plan to keep the 1350e t-case now that I know how to keep them working.I have a spare just incase tho. For some reason Im just not a fan of 14 levers sticking up thru my floorpan.
