My Current Projects...

Just a few pics mics. of what I'm working on in my spare time...
Brian brought me his 99 to finish up for him. I'm doing some wiring and paint work. I'll post more pics when I get some progress going. I took a couple pics of my 2 and Brian's black 04 the day he was here. I also have to shoot an S10 for my cousin's son. They did the body work so it's a quickie...lol

Yeah Brian we need to get together sometime, I'm not sure the F150 will fit in my garage...lol The Black and Grey truck(#14) will be for sale soon, soon as I get time to finish it up. I was thinking about the stickers but never bothered...lol
Took the S10 back today and I'm working on Brian's Gold 99/04 Ranger

As promised I thought I would post some pics but I figured this truck deserves a thread of it's own. So I am going to start one.

Thank You!

I'm sorry it took me so long to respond to your message, but I've been working non-stop for the last 4 days replacing the catalytic converters on a 4X4 Escape.
If anybody has ever worked on a 4X4 Ford Escape with the 3.0 Duratec engine you'll know what kind of he** I've been through.

Well, We got the new catalytic converters installed and the engine dropped back in place all bolted in at all 4 mounting points. The engine had to be lifted up and tilted sideways to get the back exhaust manifold off. (When Ford designed this thing they must have been on drugs.) Now I'm in the process of putting new spark plugs in the engine and putting it back together. The upper intake has to come off to take the back three spark plugs out.(Go fig) It has hemi heads, so the first three spark plugs are easy to take out once you get to them.

It was a PITA X 10 especially when two of the exhaust manifold bolts broke off in the head.
After doing this job it has become quite obvious that Ford and the other auto manufacturers are making disposable cars now.
If my sister had to pay a shop to do this it would have been around $3500 with a new cylinder head.(The cats were $550 a peice and there's 3 of them and 4 O2 sensors at $52 a peice) The car is only worth $3200 with it having 179K on it.
No wonder the salvage yards are filling up so fast these days.
