I ended up taking it easy becuase i actually do need to tighten up my straps due to the other cv binding at full droop. I also took out those awful lights in the grill and put two 6" kc style lights. Pics of that tomorow

What would you say your offroad capabilities? Being that you have a 4wd desert truck but live in the wilderness.

The thing is just amazing in techical areas, ive had less troubles getting certain areas than some of my 4x4 yota friends and now im 4x4 too so its game over for them lol. This ifs actually flexes very well. Obviously nothing like a locked solid axle but id rather go fast over sh*t and still be able to wheel

yayyyyyy blk's got some axles! i know this isnt as cool but the sport trac went under the knife today and..........

and then....

gonnna need some taller coils and a rebuild on the foa bumps. finally i can say ive stepped it up in wheel travel. almost 8" of travel without having to go wide with a longer coilover. i guess a "mid travel kit." what yall think?

mainly because thats not braced and those mounts will tear or bend that pipe if its taken offroad. I only see a single hoop with tabs, theres gotta be a 3rd point to triangle that hoop.

Most dont trust their own fab skills, and that's probably a good thing haha.

i love your hoops blk. are you running a crossmember as well? im thinking of adding a crossmember to tie the suspension together a lil more. and to add, the hoops are suprisingly very strong. everything is gusseted to take pretty hard hits. not to take huge jumps of course but to take a beating definitely a lot stronger than the "darth vader helmet" like blk said lol. here is a finished pic:

if anything i may lay some .25" plates under the shock hoops if there is any sign of tearing. in the first pics i shouldve said that there needed to be some final welds that needed to be finished, gussets and etc. overall though i think that they came out pretty nicely. not trying to thread jack ya blk :)

I really want some uniball ucas. At this time I can't afford em though :/ if I do that though I'm gonna go ahead and get lift spindles to clear the tires and beef up the spindles as well.

if youre open to suggestions on the bumps, fox builds the new pro comp hydros with all fox parts just with pro comp name. they look like foxes too. i was thinking about getting some before i got a steal on the foa's. but wouldnt ya believe it, my foa's leaked oil and air! so now i need to rebuild them unfortunately. 06XLT you were right lol. BLK i dont remember if i asked but did they offer cans with your dbr kit?

Dats gonna be nicccceee. I was almost gonna ask if you were gonna do a bed cage so you can get more travel out of the Deavers but I think with your setup, it would get some nice travel numbers anyway.
