Looks awesome. How did I miss this thread?

01RangerEdge 12-29-2012 05:38 PM

Nice, plans to paint it?

oldblue01 12-29-2012 05:40 PM

I just found this, it's looking good so far. I'll be following the build now. On another note, I didn't know they made glass fenders for a sport trac. Guess you learn new things everyday.

Mcleary316 12-29-2012 07:47 PM

That thing is sick!

That thing is sweet! Glad you updated this thread!

Great looking build man, did you manage to snag an axle set with your DBR kit? that is the one thing holding me back from going DBR with my truck.

BLK02 12-31-2012 05:30 PM

You can get axles from btf now and rcv is pretty much ready to take orders for their high end sets

oh really?! is BTF doing extended stock cvs or do they have the 930 joint? some RCVs would be sweet to. I am planning the next phase for my truck and am debating LT 4x4 or SAS.

have any contact info you could PM me about axles?

BLK02 12-31-2012 07:52 PM

Btf is offering extended axles with stock cv's (12"travel) or the rcv,s which will be the full 14" with lifetime warramty but $1600/set

Demo1986 01-04-2013 01:30 PM

1600 is a little steep for me and I don't want to spend the cash with stock cvs if its going to limit my kit. I'm thinking about doing u-joints in place of the tripod.

BLK02 01-08-2013 02:38 AM

Cant do that, need a plunging joint. Not to mention that will be just as 'hard' as making a 930 cv adapter

andrew_deaton 01-08-2013 08:37 AM

Nice. Wish mine looked that good since I totaled it a few days ago
