nah too big more like 40s. id have to run rockwells with those 54s.

progress...

everything is welded pretty much, fuel cell mounted, links all welded, 2/0 cable ran from the battery to the front distribution box, 2/0 cable ran to the winch from the optima, brake line trimmed, next is the air shocks and mounting those.

Looks really good Beard. Glad to see it coming along this quick. Just out of curiousity... why is the front all torn down and on stands as well?

I'm guessing for removing the battery and stuff, but figured I'd ask.

bah! wish i would have saw that earlier! i already ordered some other flanges. i may call ballistic tomorrow and see how soon they can get these out but ballistic is super slow.

its apart because i am caging the front too, and i cut the fenders and i also need to build a new front bumper, all of which will connect to the shock tower. kinda all integrated. i also blew a front axle ujoint. 4wd, backing up, locked hubs and asphalt dont mix. I thought the tranny was messed up and couldnt figure out why it was not backing up, so i gassed it harder then realized it was in 4wd after a big 'snap/pop' noise. lol

basically the list of things to do is this...

more bracing (triangulation)
shock mounts (rear)
charge the air shocks
front cage (exo) for now
fuel line pluming
mount bedsides
sliders
front bumper
winch mount
front and rear recovery points
brake lines (rear)
paint everything
mount bedsides
install mile marker front hubs
fix axle shaft u joint
weigh the whole truck (order new front springs and adjust the nitrogen in the rear)

all needs to be done in just less than 3 weeks. ha...

Looks good it coming along, as for ordering new springs for the front wouldn't you want to wait until you do the 5.4L swap?

As for work ya ive been working 9-10 hours going to eat supper then go to my cousin house he's remodeling and work there until midnight or so...

in theory you should be close to rockwells with a V8 and 42s.. or built 60.

so i think mild front 60 should be fine for you and 54s hell that jeeps only got 8 lugs, so its most likely a 60.
