I didnt think I would ever go bigger than 37s or ever swap in a v8. plus i dont wheel like a moron on the skinny pedal.

Now I'm not too experienced with those type of joints (only use heims really) and it may be better to mount it like that since the only thing holding the guts inside the joint is a snap ring and/or a threaded ring.

My only concern for it being mounted horizontally was the joint itself not having enough mis-alignment for the travel you want to acheive.

I'm not too big a fan of those joints because of the smaller bolt required, but there may be newer joints that use larger bolts. What size bolt do these use zach?

9/16" you can get them in 5/8" or 3/4". the 3/4" bolt size the joint goes to 3" instead of 2.63.

I like them because they are inexpensive to rebuild and they are greaseable which makes them last longer and allow for some noise reduction with the plastic. A ton of guys run them on pirate and I really have not had an issue with them. Heims are nice but the good ones are not cheap at all. (JK etc)

I'm tellin ya man... 42 pitbulls work fantasticly! Out did Iroks, boggers, tsl's, etc on the trails for overall performance. I know you don't do mud so you don't need a bogger and you don't need a sticky. So I think pitbulls are def the ticket. IMO...

i'm not always on that pedal and it wont take much to break a d44 with 42s

im not too worried about breaking the D44, whatever you know. I dont think I will break hubs, they are much different than the standard D44 hub. Id say ring/pinion, u joints, and axle shafts.

like balloons? idk. never noticed it before.

im thinking something like this. :)

i cant find a picture now, but they always seem to have a ballooned out kinda appearance. and by d44 i meant anything on it, not necessarily the hubs.

yeah i know. i think id like to run a hi9 with D60 outers. I really like that ruff stuff 9" they just came out with. I just need to find a good used hi 9. Then run the 35 spline shafts. :) but if you have any idea what i am talking about you know how much that would cost. LOL

im pretty stuck on the Kores since they are members of the pirate community and he seems like a pretty cool guy and it comes with a good price. Probably just get some 17x9 cragers and weld that kore beadlock to it.
