Hi all what i got here is a 1987 ford ranger 2.9 5speed 4x4 with the bigfoot cruser package

I don't know too much about the "bigfoot" package on the ranger but i plan on restring it anf maybe putting a 302 and a mild 4 in lift on it. Though first i want to just want to repair to rot on the body and frame and locate some parts.

id get rid of the "touch drive" in favor of a manual shift t-case and manual hubs

 

dont touch those graphics, that thing looks prime.

Believe it or not i found it on craigslists for $800. At the moment I'm just going to fix a couple of the little problems that his truck has like the rear brakes and lines and do a tune up. Then park my 99 2wd for the winter because 87 is 4wd and try to track down a 302 d35 front axel and 8.8 rear end. Then in the spring I'll tear into body work and hopefully ill have an engine and tranny and transfer case by then. Oh I also need to find a roll bar too

there is a mint roll bar in a same gen ranger at a body shop i usually go to. I'll see if the guy will give it to me...the ranger is in mint condition, he painted it and the guy never picked it up (been there for like 10 years) and the roll bar is like brand new

 

guys, and girls, i have a 1986 ranger 4x4 lil bigfoot. I got it in 2003.
i am not sure how authentic it is. Can someone please help me figure it out?
its black, 4x4 and graphics say "LIL BIGFOOT" on bottom of doors.
if anyone can help, i would appreciate it.
let me know what you need: VIN, color, engine, wheelbase, etc...
