2006 STX CraziRich --> Modding with factory look.... Smart!
Purchased this truck July 12, 2011. Pictures right out of the online advertisement
Slowly working my way into little mods. Lots of big ideas. A whole whack of tweaks to make it what I want it to be.
First things first. Detail! Getting things cleaned properly. Needs a good clay bar, polish, and wax.
Rubber flooring OUT. It appears my factory rear NON-sliding window was changed out for a NON Ford one and it's leaking. Yay!
Rims also need attention. It looks like they were neglected and never cleaned properly for a long time. The painted surfaces are terrible. This might be a winter repair seeing painting the sparkle silver in the pockets is required

First little mods I've already done.
RADIO
No more factory. In with my deck. It's an older unit, but a solid piece.
Pausing to admire the faux carbon fiber surround. Nice
OUT with the spaghetti mess of XM radio crap (YES 98% of that was behind the radio)
IN with my cd player. Installed in the factory 2003-4 F-150 STX double din to single radio bezel
Not sure if I will go into more with the stereo. Maybe a sub in the future. Not yet other than installing my aux in. That will come in a later much bigger mod

That it is. Part of the STX package. With it comes the newer style Mazda tail lights that there seems to be no aftermarket option for. Either way I have a future mod in store for that. Just gotta hit up the scrap yard for some test units and broken lights from other cars.
Front grille is the same on the Sport models. 2007? to current I think.
Rubber floor. Junk yard is the key. There are many out there. Sport and Edge models for sure. Mine has no holes for rear seating. It does have holes for the center seat 3 seater option front seat. Either way it's rubber. Cut to fit if you can't find the right one

It had none. So I found a factory set in great shape from the junk yard.
These I am probably going to paint the black painted areas white to match the truck. End caps are held on with two rivets. Top step pads seems to unclip. Most likely a winter job since I want to get the front bumper re-painted because the previous owner touched up the stone chips with a house paint brush. Well it looks like that.

Did a full front end detail. Took out the grill and headlights. Washed all the behind bits. Engine shampoo... Ph I need to get a pic of that. Turned out good. Installed an oem dual note horn and put in blue headlight and foglight bulbs (not in picture)
Ontario runs front plates. I wish I could leave it like that but its like a $300 fine or something. You can also see the ouchie under the left fog installed by the prevois owner. As well as the complimentary horrible touch up

As for the key you program it like a spare PATS key and then go through the procedure like adding a remote to make the buttons work

New light picked up from the junk yard out of an 08 F-350
All polished up
New connector pin removed Super Duty harness
Installed in Ranger harness and taped back into loom
New light installed dome lamp wiring hooked up and works
