oh yes sorry ive been a little busy with school.
turns out it wasnt the gas, just a coincidence that both our trucks had the same symptoms.
after messing with it for a bit i started to go back to the basics and found that my timing some how jumped 20degrees. so i retimed it and its been running great since, still dumb founded on how the timing jumped.

also due to my stupidity, on sunday my passenger side wheel bearing grenaded its self and left me stranded 10 miles from home. i forgot to repack my wheel bearings after the super wet and muddy wheeling trip a week and a half earlier. the inner part of the bearing practically welded it self to my passenger side spindle, chisel, torch, vice-grips, nothing could get it off, so i ran to the pull apart in tacoma and got a spindle off an explorer for 4 bucks.

sad sight first truck to get towed home.

this weekend i plan to start working on my front bumper again, and fix our old 1975 volvo 164 so i can sell it and use the money for a new welder or plasma cutter :)

got some more done, and the pictures i promised. yes its alittle lower on the passenger side, i quickly threw it on the truck, and didnt worry about aligning it.

still alot left to build on it, but its starting to take shape. you can only build so fast with a cut-off wheel
heres the progress so far, i only painted it because i wont be able to work on it for a few days and with all the rain washington gets i dont want it to start rusting.

you should put it on fullwidths! that thing would be badass! SASing these trucks is super easy and it will wheel way better!! what gears do you have in your thing now? you could get 1/2 ton axle set with 4.10s with 3-400 bucks and be set!!

SAS takes 2 days!! and fullwidths arent bad with a wheel with a good amount of backspacing!

nice little build. i'm liking parts of the bumper. i think you should have more material in front of the tires. i like the center part though.

I really like the build man. Th front bumper that you built is pretty much the same concept as what I got going on int my garage right now. I am planning on putting a small hoop on mine tho.

Keep up the good work.

I thought this was going to be a pretty boring and not the best build thread when you first started. (idk why I just did) But you proved me wrong. Kick *** little truck man. I'm really liking it! The front bumper is sweet but you should have made a bigger stinger since it looks like you already have problems dinging up your hood

Truck looks great man! Keep up the good work! Where did you get the winch and how do you like it so far (if you have used it)?

Aren't the cops gonna bug you about that front plate not being immediately noticeable?? If you think they might then have a look through my photo album for a super cheap way of mounting that front plate, that's also quick to remove.. If the pics aren't there, then I can get them for you..

Sweet lil truck man. I love the bumper..
