Project Fall 11 - Winter 2012

So Im sure most people knew something like this had to be coming since I havent done much all summer. Ive been thinking... haha

Anyway went to the Badlands last weekend and broke a few things but had a good time. Since then I have fixed the axle shaft and started checking out other things. Based on the last few wheeling trips my biggest issues are steering and cooling system. So I am going to rear mount the radiator and convert to full hydro.

Few last pictures for the year

Custom fender bulges? lol

Pulled the radiator only to find it has a crack!

Getting ready to pull the steering box

Probably going to order this soon. 2.5" double ended Full Hydro kit. I am still talking to Kelvin at PSC to find the right stuff i need.

Also need to order about 32 feet of radiator hose! eek.

I'm glad to see you're back to working on it, we don't want you to get bored and sell it.

For some reason i thought you guys chopped a tailgate on there. wth.
I hope your not going to mount a stock rad back there? You got any one in mind?
If i could recommend. I would go with Be Cool. I put there whole kit in my GN that kept getting a little too hot for my liking, and now it NEVER gets past 195. (used to get around 220)

No inspection is awesome.

Except for the people who have no business driving the POS's that get by. You know, the ones you avoid in traffic cause you know it's a death trap riding next to you.

Can't wait to see it, I wanted to do hydro on my old chebby.

Probably never. I dont like all the complication it adds. I may go with cut brakes if i need to turn sharper.

well having my pa inspection licence the only reason it wouldnt pass a pa inspection would be the tires stick out to far. thats the only reason from all the years i have been watching beard build this truck he has done a damn good job at keeping it street legal but still an insane wheeler.
