Project Low

Well I have owned my 2005 Ranger XLT for about three weeks now. I have been unsure which route I would take on modifications.

I was thinking go high or low, and since it is only 2 wheel drive and I am not really a fan of off roading. I decided low is the way to go. Hence the title.

I am ordering the 4/5 drop kit this week through Summit Racing. Seems to be the best deal out there and one of the only ones that includes all the shocks. Also going to throw some 18's on it. Not sure of which rim yet but thinking black with a chrome lip. I will post pictures of the install and the final result.

Just gotta wait on the parts now...

After I do the rims and drop, going with a roll pan and exhaust.. I don't know if I'll shave anything yet still up in the air.

Its dark out right now but I will get some pictures of it up tomorrow.

Just bought four Kenwood 6x8s installed and sound amazing. Should have my suspension here in a week or so. Then off to buy some rims.

Looks good so far. What are you thinking about for grills? I've always wanted your style. Would you be willing to swap for an 08 chrome H?

seed60:
Not sure yet. So many options... I dont know if I want to go with 16s for a muscle look or kick it up to 20s. I am leaning towards the muscle look.

morris:
Sorry man love the back center of my grill. Just bought this black chrome kit and going to do all the chrome on my truck.

Tomorrows plans: Bought this black chrome paint. Going to do my grill and bumpers and if there is time the rims. Mainly because I am getting married here shortly and don't really have the funds to get the rims right now.

Blacked out the lights today. Added LED strip to bumper that acts as turns and brake lights.

Looking really good! Same color as mine. Is that the stock tire size still right, how is the rubbing up front?
