Fiberglass Door pods build

I ordered 6 6.5" pyle pro audio mids and 4 vifa tweeters. will be ran active with a crossfire x-over on a rockford t8004
yes, fiberglass door pods are in the works.
got the mids and tweets in. i must say, i truly under estimated the build quality of the mids. for 10.45 a piece i was not expecting much but ****! I MUST SAY build quality is outstanding! coming from china i expected to see chipped ferrite, sloppy glue iffy tripple joint etc. well no. thats not the case. everything is perfect all the way down to the dang dustcap. +1 for pyle. oh and i tested one and it sounds GREAT! Now the tweeters i didnt expect much either. they are very nice indeed! I was going for as chepa as possible active front stage for others to follow. it should turn out amazing in the end! now the fun part of fitting three 6.5's in the door of a ranger! BWAHAHAHAHA! might have to go with two! here are pics:

so im going to go with two mids per doors!
also here is a pic of the subs going in:
two skar audio VVX15's in a 6ft^3 ported box ran on a RD audio 1750.1

may the glassing commence!

i had this plan to do three. i scratched it. gona have two mids as spares laying around the house. it was just to **** insane! couldn't get three in my door. hence the cutout on the top lol. mega fail! anyways, i had to cut circles on the door pannel as well to get it tucked up in there snug. i must say, its still comfy! my legs are still free e brake is beyond accessible!

old t shirt FTW

couple sections got kinda wrinkly its not fully set as i used hot glue. going to ca glue all the edges once im fully pleased. so far looking great to me...
update:
so i really did not like the way the cotton shirt got all bunched up. no matter how hard i tried! so, i raided the good old closet. found a womens shirt made of polyester. nice and stretchy :) absolutely not ONE wrinkle

before resin

after resin

i think i mixed up the hardner a little lean, i will find out lol

first layer of fiber

third layer and holes cut out. was really easy actually

test fit to make sure nothing warped and nothing did!

body filler..... oh yay!
just with 80 grit. going to smooth out and shape some more fill some minor holes as well. not in a huge rush which is good...

thanks guys. yes dual tweets :) i LOVE mids and highs! IF two tweets are a little harsh then im going to reduce it to 1 tweet and re-do the pillar pods.

Nice work so far... the door ones stick out a little much for my liking though! Looks like you're going to have to open the door to use the parking brake... lol.

nope :) i made sure of this. i barely use the damn thing in the first place BUT the pod stops and leaves 4" of space from the brake and the back of the pod when the brake is released. more than enough room to angle my foot in there
