Thanks Sam!

Getting real close now, got the both hoops on. I have to cut out the gussets for the lower tabs, weld those on, and I can get the shocks on and set her down. Other than that it's just tying up the loose ends, like putting the inner fender plastic back in and tightening stuff up.

Had to notch the driver's side hoop and make a different gusset to fit around the panhard bracket.

All the gussets look good. How are you attaching the bottom of the coilovers?

I'm using tabs from ruffstuff, they're welded as far out as I could get on the bottom coil mounts. I'm going to use the rest of the open area of the coil mounts to gusset to tabs.

Thanks, and hopefully haha!

Tonight I got the inner fenders back in, all the bolts tightened down, and did a crude eyeball it alignment. All I have to do now is put the shocks in and put the tires on.....I think.

Looks great! Hope it's a big improvement for you! Did you go 2.0 or 2.5 on the coilovers?

Thanks. I gotta say king pretty much nailed it. There's 5" of shaft showing with the weight on it which is exactly what I told them I wanted. I'm sure it'll settle some after driving it but 4-5" of uptravel at the shock is where I wanted to be. The ride height is almost exactly 2" lower than when i started.

I hope so too, it was way more work and money than I planned on lol. They are 2.0s, since clearance was such a big concern I honestly didn't even consider the 2.5s.

Drove it around the block a couple of times this morning. It already drives better, there's no strange noises anymore, doesn't look like I'll need the sway bar anymore either, and the best thing the steering is way way way tighter. The toe is off but the caster seems spot on and the steering response is night and day from before.

Unless I do some serious weight shifting, I'm probably going to have to raise my drivers bucket 1 notch to even it out

I also never realized that you trimmed you bumper, If I go with 37's in the future I'll have to do that to avoid raising the truck any more than I have

Yeah there's just all sorts of heavy stuff on that one side. I cranked the coilover up an inch on the driver's side today and it looks like it's all level for now. With the coil springs I had before the driver's side adjuster was cranked almost 2" higher than the passenger side and it still leaned.

I trimmed the bumper way back when I was running the 35's with only the body lift. Back in those days I didn't have nearly as much room lol.

I think I'm gonna go ahead and put the sway bar back on again too. It's got more body roll on the driver's side than the passenger side, and while it's more stable than it was with the coils I kinda miss the antirock, and I have a lot more room to mount it now. Sucks though I'll have to order some new heim's for it since I had to cut two of em off cause the threads were all jacked up from hitting stuff. And Currie apparently thinks those things are solid gold.
