So i finished putting the D44 together this afternoon. She is painted and ready to be put in. Here is some pics of everything as it is sitting right now waiting to be put in.

My 5.5 inch lift springs from Rubicon express

All of the weld in bungs from Ballistic Fab

The new rims. They are the same as my old ones but 5on5 instead of 5 on 4 1/2

Size: 211.0 KB

The tire and rim as it will look when mounted.

The frond axle put completly together minus breaks. They will be in on Monday.

The new tires. They are a no name brand... I think they are pit bulls or something like that. From what i hear they are a ok tire. They will do untill i get my low profile Goodyear eagle F1s on this thing.

I could not get a replacement breather for the axle so i had to make one. I ended up going to Canadian Tire and getting a 3/8 Brass fitting for a compressor and tapped that in to the breather hole. and then as you can see hooked up some clear hose and refitted the stock breather on to the other end.

I am going to eventually be running a super 88 kit in the back from superior gear. which will swap it from 5 on 4 to 5 on 5. but for now these are the spacers that i am going to be useing that will allow me to runa 5 on 5 rim.

And here is links to all of the brakety that i have gotten from Ballistic as well.

the lower coil mounts/control arm mounts/ pan hard bar mount
XJ - TJ Jeep combo bracket upgrade kit

The upper coil mounts. I still have to figure out how am going to mount my shock.
Adjustable coil buckets. Plus i have the 3 inch ballistic joint that are here i just need to go and pick them up from the post office. I am super pumped to stat on this thing.

If you guys have any suggestions on how i can improve on this before i even start feel free to put in your two cents.

So I finally started the sas. Took longer then expected but now that it is rolling I am makeing good progress. To start off I was going to do it at my place but moved the build to my buddys just because he ahs a nicer garage and he has done this before.

So on with the build. Every build needs a name, so I though seeing as how i have swapped all of the ford logos for deceptico logos it would be fitting to name it after a decepticon. So after a bit of reseach I found the perfect name....

You have no idea how much i want this thing back on the trails. I was Reggie, my buddy who is helping my out with the sas. One of his friends is going to dana 60's in his Rubicon. And is giving me first dibs on the air locker and 4.10 gears that he has. I think I might go for it.

Your going to lose alot of power with 4.10s and 35s offroad. 4.56's or even 4.88s would be much better. Can't wait to see it done!
