He was driving a Dodge while this swap was happening. Glad to see it's all finished. I hope I can do this to my truck someday in the future.

nice, i want to do this to my truck (08 ranger sport) i found a 97 explorer that still runs that i might buy for $500. i just have to find out if i can use the parts off of it. how hard has it been to do the swap?

Alright more questions....

I finally got a 13-50 manual shift. I'll be getting the linkage. Does it mount the same way as the 13-54 linkage does? Meaning no fabrication?

Also the driveshaft you had shortened, what did it come out of since the 13-50 doesn't have a CV style front output flange?

Also what did you use for the rear shaft? Do you know if the 13-50 is the same overall length as the 13-54?
