are you a stepside? if you think you want one made, I can send you prints so you can take em somewhere. If you're a stepside just give me the distance between bedsides (i.e. width of tailgate space) then the overall width you want and I can shorten in appropriately.

He's running an Effonefiddy. The track in his aviator is his parents (now)

My truck was black on the bottom, but it won't be staying black. I'm painting the top yellow, bottom dsg.

I see your point on the bottom. That bed liner stuff may be good. I may have mine painted DSG in line X

I don't have a bolt. That's why I need one.

I know it's an M12-1.75, or at least I think it is. I just need the length. I suppose since I'm home now I can get the bracket and caliper and make a pretty good guesstimate.

but rather than pay $16 plus shipping on 4 bolts...

I'd rather get a pack of 10 for like $6 plus shipping...

oh you mean the 3/8 bolts. I think factory those are metric, too, but there's no threaded hole so you can use what you want. caliper has a tapped hole.

longer 3/8 bolts with fender washers, flange nuts, and more for topper. 1/2-13 x 1.5 grade 8 bolts and nylock nuts for bumper, 5/8 x 2 Grade 8 bolts and nylock nuts also for bumper, six 3/8 x1.25 grade 8 bolts and pinch lock nuts for brake caliper brackets, then the black bolts are metric grade 10.9 M12-1.75 x 40mm flange bolts for brake calipers.

Just out of curiosity sake… what grade are the nylocks ?

Usually grade 8 Locking Nuts are all metal.

So, if you are using a grade 8 bolt does it reduce the srength factors anywhere by using fiber locking nuts ?

I guess for the Topper and the Bumper it may not make a lot of difference.

Just thinking out loud.

well the ones with orange inserts actually dont have a marking and I think they may not be. The larger ones with the white inserts ARE marked as grade 8. I went with the nylock because with the metal toplock and pinchlock nuts are basically a one time use thing, both for the nut and the bolt. whereas with nylock I would just be getting a new nut if I needed. I did get metal locknuts for the brake caliper axle brackets because I don't expect them to be off, ever.

The topper bolts are grade 5, and I don't have locking nuts for them anyway. I went with a regular flange nut.

New Pics!

It does need a bath (the whole truck) so ignore the dirt and such. The finish looks great, there's a couple nicks from when I bought it that I let Josh ignore, since I don't really care that much about filling them in.

In retrospect, I should've removed the Leer logo in the back corner. But I didn't. You might notice a couple white spots, that's from the flash, or sometimes a little rubbing compound in a crevice. There is ONE spot I might touch up around the streetside window, on the top left corner, you can see it in the first pic actually. I might just put a bead of black silicone around the edge of the window. or even clear. Just to keep it all consistent.

Next step is to add on my roof rack! I need to pick up some silicone to seal the roof, maybe some UHMW strips to mount it on. (1/2" thick, so it would have a lower overall height than the black plastic mounts I have now, plus would mount flush.)

I think it does, they are just at different levels of clean right now too. I told josh he needed to buff out my whole truck now... I don't think he wanted to do that too much haha.

I don't think I'll tint them anymore. Definitely not the front/rear windows, I already can't see at night. Maybe the sides at some point, but they look fine now.
