I just have a question: Why did you make the back so much lower? Ive never understood this.

ha, the back end is mildly built..
Deaver F31 springs, Bliztkrieg Shackles. 7.5" eye to eye. Kartek drop shackle hangers.

due to the shackles being flipped from factory location provides no lift from the leaf springs, and the shackles being longer make the rear end squat even more.

and the front just sits high ha.

but the rear will pull 14-15" travel before the suspension reaches its limit. i will have it bumped and strapped around 12-13"

Flomaster on here has the same suspension, just the G50 race pack instead of a pre runner pack, and i believe camburg shackles. his truck also has fiberglass bedsides which make the opening bigger, and making it appear to sit more level.

appreciate it man, and being a first time is very noticeable, since the rear most down tubes are right on top of the middle bed bolts... so it is now impossible to get the bed unbolted haha. so when the time comes... ill cut the bed in half to remove it

got the shocks mounted yesterday, just need to make a mount for the reservoirs. and go beat on it some more ha ha. i was jumping some steep lip in a parking lot after i got them installed, and damn, once that rear end hits the ground it stays planted instead of bouncing around.
now i just need to upgrade the front!!

How does the rear end suspension ride (soft or stiff compared to stock)? I'm seriously planning on putting on a set of Deavers and long shackles and shocks just as you did. My stock springs are so stiff and small travel and junk.

Did you make a cover yet for the holes in the bed where the shackles poke through? I figured i'd have to do the same thing and just wondered how it would work out.

Nice work on the truck as a whole! Bada$$!

i got some pictures to post up but until i get a good internet connection i cant since the upload times out.

but with the deavers out back, and the 2.5 FOA shocks out back it rides good, a bit bumpy at times due to the shocks being a bit stiff. but once ya go off road it rides awsome!

no covers for the holes in my bed, which are alot right now... my bed is trash now, when i get around to making a new bedcage, im going to ditch the bed completely
