Hell no Carol! Lul...

I'll post some pics when I get home... you'd be surprised what pinion angle I have right now... Course, its not set and welded yet but its mocked up.

Ty, my buddy used those springs on a sas for a dakota quad cab with the V8, and hasn't had any problems with sagging... and he's on 39.5's... so well see if they settle like you say lol... Is he running the super flex springs or the HD's?

ranger 12-22-2010 10:25 PM

All new leaf springs will settle. Unless they are like 7 ton springs or some ****

-spilly 12-22-2010 11:12 PM

rstangboi 12-23-2010 12:16 AM

Here's pics I've taken so far... Some pinion shots, some axle placement, some front ride height, and the bracket we made for the frenched frame, of course it's not all complete, but it's a good idea of what you're gonna see when it's done...

GB :)

fishy2k8 12-23-2010 12:37 AM

looks super far forward.. but what do i know lol ive never built one.. im sure it'll function well! it's gunna be huge!

TrePaul86 12-23-2010 12:40 AM

I don't think the shift forward has been stressed enough for the members... It serves a purpose. And it's late and I don't feel like explaining...

I didn't do it for sh!ts and gigs... With a leaf setup, you have to, there's no way around it with leafs.

comunistico 12-23-2010 12:56 AM

looks good. youl have a great approch angle. i was thinking the same if to throw the axle a tad foward when we setup my trucks leafs.

dont know if u already said, u keeping the body lift?

TrePaul86 12-23-2010 01:01 AM

Yeah... I have a few things I modified to work with the body lift, plus changing the slave out with a body lift is 10x easier and faster...

steveo1271 12-23-2010 01:20 AM

looks sweet,it's gonna be able to crawl up some nice stuff with the axle that far forword.keep up the good work

vansnxtweek 12-23-2010 07:09 AM

Very sick man..SAS is all foreign to me but it sure likes you're doing it right haha.

I know I've explained it twice already in this thread, so have others. It don't need to be repeated.

Woods-Rider 12-23-2010 08:22 AM

Sick Trev! When you get it all done give me a call and I'll ride shotgun when you take it out.

03whtEDGE 12-23-2010 09:23 AM

Looks great Trev! You might have to whip up a snazzy plate bumper at work. One thing at a time though lol. I'm jealous.
