If I remember right, mine was pulled fro a 94 expo, that's why I had to cap off the speedo hole, and that's the difference in front outputs..

Yes, I still have no front drive line Stephen, no money and no desire to work on the truck anymore. I'm so lazy its remarkable lol

The pigtail hooks up to the manual Tcase sensor and works the 4wd lights on the dash.

I find that this thread is still lacking as far as where you can get the manual transfer cases and the linkages. I tried to find a list of vehicle models and years but had no luck.

The only twinstick I have right now is my old rusty-trusty 89 Ranger. It's a manual in both ways from the factory. All three of the BroncoII's I have are electric shift and automatics. ftw

1990-1992 had them with a 4.0L only. 91-94 explorers had the option, 93-97 Rangers had them as an option. Thats what ive learned through my junk yard travel

Thanks for the reply man. I know that junkyards have them. lol I just needed more of a list of the years and models that would have the right case/linkage for the swap.

EDIT: Thanks Vista!

I'll keep looking local. I figure I can find one around here eventually, for $50-$100 Stuff goes pretty cheap most of the time in this area. I've got several older electric cases but no manuals.. $300 is just way too spendy for me, whether it's a reasonable price or not.

Thanks for the heads up though!

I'm always considering new mods, often several at a time. I like changing the truck around, especially when it makes it more functional or reliable.

I just needed a good list of what models/years the transfer cases could be salvaged from. Not trying to bash your thread or clutter it up too much. Sorry.

I believe it would just be any early 90's 4.0 powered vehicle could have the 1354m.

The 1990 and I think 1991 B2 also had the 1354m on the M5OD-R1 tranny...

Wouldn't you know it.. I have 3 BII's for parts. Two 89 models with pushbutton 4x4 and one 88 model that had a manual transmission that I used in my 89 Ranger. Not sure if I have that transfer case or not? I think it's the wrong model anyway, right?

My work truck is a 89 Ranger 4x4 and it has a manual transfer case at least. Now if I could get my 01 Ranger upgraded.. I did check my 01 and it has the necessary bolt bosses on the transmission tailshaft piece.

Because you have an automatic trans, the manual trans' are the ones that had the hard to find tail housing.

Your 89 has a 1350m not a 1354m... That's why, given it's year... The 91 b2 I'm almost positive had the 1354m in it... Shane can back me up on this one, but my t-case linkage which has to be 1354m specific was pulled from a 91 B2..
