I used James Duff conversion mounts but since I cut out almost all of the crossmember it doesnt sit where Duff intended. I had to add a 1" spacer to lift motor a little so the oil filter relocation block would clear the steering box.

I used a JD2 tube bender to make the bed.

Update for new parts.

Been on a mad spending spree lately between both trucks but here is the new toys for the truggy.

Got my D&D doubler. Going to replace the stock 4 pinion planetary with a 6 pinion

I also picked up my disc brake brackets,a 9in axle brace, bought a DTS 31spline spool and a 9in pinion guard.

And picked up some Explorer manifolds that will take care of my steering shaft issues. My BBK headers were in the way of the steering shaft so these manifolds will give me all the room I need now.

So as soon as Im done with the turbo swap on the other truck I will be jumpin in with both feet to get the truggy done.

An update!

Last week took my younger cousin to Bundy Hill for his first time ever doing and real off roading in his mildly prepped Chevy Trailblazer. I rode bitch and spent most of the day walking him through everything there he wanted to try. Well thats enough of that ****!

Got back to work on the Truggy today.I have a good plan to stick to and hope to have this finish asap.

Picked a small but important project today. Finishing the winch. I already had a new motor put on my XR8 last year and today I reclocked the control box and bolted it down and wired it up. Fits just how I wanted it to.

The whole front sheet metal has been just sitting on the truck since I started the build so today I finally got everything lined up and bolted down for good. You can also see I started on the shock hoop crossover today also.

Goin to finish up the crossover brace and get reservoirs mounted in morning along with new/different exhaust manifolds so I can finish steering.

No that hood is a POS. I roll painted it with TSC white paint nice and thick to hide all the cracks in it. Before I finish the exo I plan to paint the roof white as well so it will all kinda tie in together.

Decided why wait for morning! Check another thing off my To Do List.

Whipped this up tonite..

Welded the flanges on bolted together with washers inbetween each flange.

Then welded them to the hoops.

Then I removed the bolts and the washers fall out.Now I just run the sawzall inbetween the two flanges.

Then I painted and bolted everything together.Just used some worm clamps on the reservoirs for now.

Had another decent day yesterday in garage. Small things though.

Welded up a mounting bracket on frame rail for oil filter mount, made the oil lines from engine to relocation adapter, came up with a decent air inlet setup with a K&N filter, started pulling current headers off and have engine harness laid out on table to cut open and make it fit this truck a little better than it did in the Bronco2.

Had a pretty good weekend in garage again.

Pulled the BBK headers off and swapped on the cast Explorer manifolds. Building my Y-pipe gona be alot easier now, have tons of room now for steering shaft and I had to re-do my plug wires to fit differently because of how those manifolds are made.

Got trans lines all plumbed and hooked to cooler along with vac line that I had forgotten all about.

Coulda got alot more done except I had to get an old riding mower up and running for sister and my mothers husband passed away suddenly Sunday.

Dang that sounds like a blast!

I know a guy that just hauled his bronco out to moab and rubicon trail 2 weeks ago before Jeep Fest. Had a blast. Imagine a diesel pusher with 2 girls, wife with a 2 place car trailer, bronco on 42s and a MKX. lmao
