yeah. maybe before this meet, never know.

i was out screwing around in the new 6 inches of snow and it is a different animal with lockers. it seems like i may have a transfer case issue too. I get a bunch of chatter in the front end area.

At risk of sounding like a jackass, what lockers are you running? I started searching through the posts but I got lazy.

Aussie in the front and Richmond Lock Rite in the back. Just lunch box style lockers for now.

My noise I get sounds like a locker because when i just apply a little bit of throttle it goes away. Full throttle its gone too. Coasting its loud.

That's weird...
The front aussie is a little strange in the snow isn't it?
I never got to use mine in more than a few inches of snow and some ice when I was moving. I imagine it's great when you have 6" or more and it's more slick.

nope it only makes the noise when in 4wd...

if the hubs are locked and in 2wd it doesnt seem to make any noise. I thought maybe i had hub issues. but i do not. the hubs are fully locked in.

either the locker is junk??? cant tell if all 4 are spinning, maybe something in the driveshaft? or tcase. so i am still at square one. other than I am going to go and get the shaft all checked out. See what happens after that.

I was out screwing around tonight, it is amazing how much better it handles the power and large tires. I had it in 4lo just having a blast besides all the noise???

its -12 degrees out, not including wind chill.

Yeah I had no other choice cuz Austy wasn't home... On the fly kinda thing... Only to find out after replacing the shaft in Austy's shop a day later with the SL shaft that my L Diff bracket had sheared in 2 pieces...
